STEPS TO BECOMING A LAZERS STAFF COACH

All full time and part time staff are nationally licensed, professionally trained, and participate in continuing education every season.

The Lazers' staff coaches serve several roles:

  • Work with different ages and teams throughout the club
  • Conduct, manage and oversee training and games each week during season
  • Coach and provide instruction during player development camps
  • Conduct preseason and in-season player evaluations 



A staff candidate must work toward (or already have) the following qualifications:

  • USSF National Grassroots (National "E") Licenses, or Non-US National "E" Equivalent
  • Lazers Staff Coaching Badge (12-15 hour class Initially, followed by classroom and field continuing education each season)
  • Ability to Demonstrate Techniques
  • Ability to follow and teach Lazers Core Principles and the Lazers vernacular
